“Shaun the Sheep Movie” gives the audience some laugh-out-loud moments. For example, the farmer, one of the main characters, suffers a memory loss and winds up in a barber shop. He gives a famous celebrity a haircut and thinks he is actually shearing one of his sheep. The celebrity loves the new haircut and the style becomes as hot as an August day. Everyone gets the haircut, even several girls! The kids in the movie theater howled with delight at the sheep’s antics, including one scene in which a sheep buries his face in a cake as he devours it.
The farmer falls asleep in a wheelbarrow and the mischievous sheep tuck him in his camper bed, placing a dark piece of paper in the window to make him think it’s night. Then, the animals — pigs included — enjoy hanging around in his house, eating his food and watching his TV. However, an accident occurs, and soon the camper races down a hill and winds up crashing into a street light in the city. The farmer loses his memory, and the sheep are determined to bring him back home. They come up with a “missing person” poster and diligently search for him.
The journey along the way is full of funny moments, hilarious escapades, and a lot of burping, too! We award the film our Dove Family Approved Seal for ages 12-plus, but parents should consult the content listing to make their own informed choices. These sheep have a knack at making blunders seem very funny!
