Dove Review

This documentary is the story of Peter Jackson, a brilliant pianist blind since age 2 when measles ruined his optic nerves. His blindness was a blow to the family, and he ended up taken away by Social Services and seeing his mother only once in several years. Attending school and learning to communicate was difficult for Peter, but on the first day the teacher played the piano. He knew that the chord played had something to do with Jesus and that Jesus loved children.

Peter learned Braille and other subjects, and at age 7 he was asked if he’d like to learn the piano. He learned quickly, though struggled with illness again at age 11. He recovered and once again felt that God’s hand was on his life. He loved to jam on the piano and lived for playing. He was able to attend a music college where he met a group of other blind students who talked about knowing Jesus personally. He was fascinated, eventually accepting Jesus into his life. His story is amazing!

This DVD was filmed live during a performance in Fraserburgh, Scotland. His music will have you singing and tapping your feet and appreciated its beauty. The Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages is awarded to this documentary.
