Guglielmo Massaja spent most his life in Ethiopia, serving the church. He was a remarkable 19th century Catholic missionary who had the privilege of serving under the Pope. In this documentary, viewers will walk the streets he walked, meet some of his relatives and see many of the landscapes he visited, including his old apartment. This film also offers an inside look into some of the most beautiful interiors of churches and buildings where Massaja served and visited.
Massaja’s writings are well documented and narrated throughout the video. The narrator says, “Providence has allowed him to grow old, tell his story and recount his testimony.” This short video provides a glimpse into his life as a faithful servant to Christ and the church. We award this film the Dove Faith Friendly Seal for all ages.
