Dove Review

Gladys Aylward was small in stature but she had a big mission from God given to her the day she welcomed Him into her life. This is her story told in her own words and those of Carol Purves, who wrote a biography of Aylward’s life.

This is an inspirational journey through her travels to China, her work there and the children she cared for. It also tells of her loneliness, her Bible teachings and her dedication to the Lord’s work though it sometimes sent her in a direction she was not expecting.

Everyone will enjoy this interesting documentary about an incredible woman with a sense of humor and courage. We are proud to award this film the Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.
