Synopsis

In “Holy Ghost Reborn,” the sequel to the popular and controversial “Holy Ghost,” Director Darren Wilson continues his journey around the world to make a movie that is completely led by the Holy Spirit. The scope of the film is huge, with Darren filming in the middle of a protest in Rome, with a witch doctor in Africa, with prostitutes and the homeless in Brazil, amidst the ancient ruins of Greece, and even with a group of Navy SEALs. “Holy Ghost Reborn” is ultimately a film about one man’s search for the Spirit of God. It is a Spirit that created the universe, but ultimately desires to reveal the truth of Jesus to all of us. Darren searches for an invisible God, and finds a tangible friend who relentlessly pursues us all.

Dove Review

“Holy Ghost Reborn” is a sequel but it is fresh and original! It features the ministry of director Darren Wilson and several prominent Christian leaders. Several musicians, including Reinhard Bonnke, Todd White, and Kim Walker-Smith, also appear in the film. These Christians teach about the power of the Holy Spirit to people all around the world: witch doctors in Africa, a protest crowd in Rome, and prostitutes in Brazil. One young man, a witch doctor in training, becomes the village’s first pastor. It is these stories that propel the power of this documentary.

Hearts melt while the various Christians minister peace and love to people around the world. Many of these people share a disappointment with the church and religion, but this group of devout Christians encourage them to “walk with Jesus, and not to look to man.”

We are pleased to award our Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for ages 12+ to this potentially life-changing DVD. It is a film you do not want to miss!
