Synopsis

Buggy Breakup (The Importance of Teamwork)—Things are going just peachy when all the bug students begin to work together on a school float to collect food for a charity event. However, everything starts to go awry when they lose sight of the goal and begin to compete against each other, thanks to Sluggy’s subtle pairing of each bug against the other. Meanwhile, Sluggy is secretly creating his own float, a tribute to his own greatness! Children will learn the importance of teamwork and the rewards of making the effort to get along well with others.

Dove Review

Sluggy is always trying to cause trouble amongst Carlos Caterpillar and his friends. Now is no different, with the class working as a team on a project for the community to collect food. But as they start the project everyone is goes in a different direction, all because of Sluggy.

The gang sees the trouble and come together for the community, not themselves. Carlos Caterpillar, along with his friends, come together and do the right thing with teamwork.

We award this Carlos Caterpillar tale with the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages with its wonderful educational lessons about teamwork and friendship.
