Dove Review

The Colgate Comedy Hour with Bud Abbott and Lou Costello was a variety show that entertained while advertising for Colgate products such as toothpaste, laundry soap, bath soap and shaving cream. The show featured sketches by the funny duo of Abbott and Costello that made everyone laugh. It had something for everyone: singing, dancing, music, acrobats, and comedy that never stopped when these two men got together.

The show, originally presented in black and white but now colorized, was and is entertaining for the entire family. The duo always keeps you laughing with their short skits, and the different talent acts keep the attention of all who watch. Plus, the advertisements for Colgate seem like part of the show. Life is never dull when you have Abbott and Costello around.
