Synopsis

When the Frog King announces that the winner of the Froglympics will win the hand of his daughter Princess Froglegs (Belle Thorne) in marriage, she runs away. Disguised as a commoner, Princess Froglegs befriends street vendor Freddy (Cameron Dallas), and begins training with him for the games—determined that she will win and thwart her father’s plan for her marriage. Meanwhile, the villainous snake Serpent (Keith David) has ideas of his own to ruin the Froglympics and take over the kingdom. With a little luck and little help from their trusty sidekick (Rob Schneider), Freddy and Princess Froglegs must save Frog Kingdom from the wicked clutches of Serpent.

Dove Review

The king of Frog Kingdom decides to give his daughter as top prize to the winner of the Froglympics, but she has other plans. She wants to make her own choices and runs off with her sidekick and friend. The two disguise themselves as boy frogs so they can enter the games, but little do they know that Serpent has a plan to take revenge on them all.

This is a story of friendship and having the ability to make your own decisions about life and love. “Frog Kingdom” also encourages helping your friends and standing by them when trouble and/or problems arise. This is an entertaining, animated story that is funny and filled with action.

We award the Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
