Synopsis

From the pen of Pulitzer Prize-winning author John Updike (“The Witches of Eastwick,” “Rabbit, Run”) comes the story of a young man’s search through the questions of life and death, and the wondrous discovery of living in the soaring beauty of one of nature’s simplest creations. A family returns to life on the farm and finds answers to the paradox of living.

The young teenage boy David tries to find answers to his questions about a person’s soul. As he studies nature, people around him and even those at church to learn about the soul, his search leads him to more questions regarding life, death, faith and the hereafter.

This story written by the award-winning John Updike is about growing up and trying to make an enlightened decision about the great questions of life. Is there is answer for every question? David wants to know.
