Synopsis

The year is 6 B.C. Many years had passed since Daniel’s prophecies and most had forgotten the prophecies of a coming Messiah. Mankind had strayed away from the God’s way. Evil was prevailing. It was now time for God to send his Son to cleanse mankind of its sins. The prophecy was about to be fulfilled. Journey back to the Holy Land and witness three epic events of the New Testament: Jesus’ Nativity, Baptism and Three Temptations. Your kids will not be able to take their eyes off this enthralling, 3D adventure.

Dove Review

“The Story of Jesus” is an awesome animated adventure that kids will treasure. Little Jim is getting ready for bed and he is concerned about “monsters under my bed.” His grandfather, toting his Bible, saunters into his room and leaves the Bible near Jim’s bed to give him comfort. But Jim, with his pet dog Rusty nearby, wants to hear the story of Jesus. So Grandpa agrees and tells him the enthralling story of Jesus’ birth including the angel appearing to Mary, the angel appearing to Joseph in his dream, traveling to Bethlehem for the census, the problem finding a room, and the birth of Jesus. Also, the wise men and King Herod’s concerns are included. The scene of Joseph and Mary traveling to Bethlehem is well done and the 3D figures are almost lifelike.

The significant details of the Nativity are brilliantly brought to life in this vivid and colorful animated film. We are pleased to award “The Story of Jesus” our “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages. Little Jim thanks Grandpa for the story and you will be glad you and your children heard this story too. It is a total triumph!
