Children in middle school have a hard time adjusting if they don’t fit the popularity mold. They may deal with bullying, are told they aren’t liked, face situations at home and just have tough times if they are different from others.
“Titans of P.S. 271” is such a story. It is the tale of Sam and her friends Tyler and Kathy as they prepare for the annual Paper Football competition. The biggest challenge is Ricky, the bully of the school who has won two years in a row. But there is another challenge as well, one that Sam needs to practice: sharing her faith in God not just with her friends but with everyone. To do so she must open her eyes to what is really going on around her, and realize that being popular is not always what it seems. This is an entertaining movie about believing in Christ and sharing His message with those around you no matter where you are. The entire family will love the comedy, the encouragement to share one’s faith, and having Christ open your heart. The film also explores how to look at others the way Jesus would, and that no one should fear anything if they have Christ in their life. We are proud to award “Titans of P.S. 271” with the Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.
