Dove Review

“Where’s the Love” is a movie about human frailty and it portrays this frailty well. Sidney and Ryan (David Banner and Denise Boutte) host a TV show as marriage counselors, but they are not taking their own advice—their own marriage lacks communication. Ironically, they spoke about communication in the book they wrote about having an excellent marriage.

A certain woman from Sidney’s past wants to start a relationship with him and, although he is not interested, the tabloids snap a photo of the two of them together, adding fuel to the fire. This is a film that shows that marriages need work in order to be successful, but that it is possible to have a good marriage. We are pleased to award the movie our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve plus. This movie shows that a little work can go a long way in helping a crippled marriage.
