Dove Review

“The Legend of Longwood” will be enjoyed by kids and has a bit of intrigue for the adults as well. It features a few mysteries to solve, with a girl named Mickey Miller as the heroine. Mickey learns of the legend of the Black Knight, who figures into the plot. This creepy apparition is restless for a reason, and Mickey learns the secret. Lucy Morton does a wonderful job playing Mickey, the energetic sleuth of the movie.

The film features a villain, in this case a woman named Caitlin; she hatches a plot to marry a wealthy man and a few other evil schemes. She has a problem with not liking children, so she and Mickey do not take to one another. The film also features horses, and Mickey loves riding a white one named Silver. Silver ends up badly injured and the question is soon raised: Will he survive? The film features the spirit of the Black Knight, but this is a fantasy film with its imagination running a bit free. The cinematography in this movie captures beautiful hillsides and sights. We are pleased to award it our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for ages twelve plus. Enjoy this adventure; it will keep you on your toes!
