The magical Puff the Dragon tells a wonderful story about a little girl who tells lies. At first Sandy was telling tall tales about things like how a dragon ate her homework, but as time went on and things changed at her house, her stories turned into lies so that eventually she lost all her friends.

Puff takes her to the Land of Living Lies, where everyone who has been a compulsive liar lives. Her lies cause a great deal of trouble for Puff, and he helps her see how those fibs can cause pain for others and herself. He helps her see that lies do not help anyone and that the worst lies are the ones you believe about yourself.
