Dove Review

Most people have read or seen the wonderful story written by Charles Dickens about a man who has spirit visitors on Christmas Eve. They come to show him a better way to live his life.

This classic is a charming black-and-white version that was shown on TV in the 1950s. This version of the popular book and movie brings to life not only the original story, but also the timeless television musical presentation.

This is a movie without the fancy special effects of today’s movie making, but instead the simple world of the past. It is truly a movie for everyone to enjoy, especially when remembering the era in which it was created. The Dove Family Approved Seal for all ages is awarded to this version of “A Christmas Carol.”
