Synopsis

The much-loved tale of the wise King Arthur, his loyal knights, the wizard Merlin, wicked witches and one big round table is brought to life in this wondrous animated adventure.

Arthur and his beautiful Queen Guinevere are determined to unite the kingdom and bring peace to the land. But the evil witch Morgan and her devious son Mordred have other plans and will stop at nothing to take over the throne. With the help of Lancelot, it will take a battle of magical spells and brave knights if Arthur’s hopes for Camelot are to be realized and not destroyed forever.

Dove Review

“Camelot: The Legend” is a terrific, animated film that remains true to the legend of King Arthur. The animated colors are bright and the woods are scenic. The story incorporates the legend of King Arthur’s nobility, Queen Guinevere’s beauty, and the courage of Lancelot. During the course of the story, the evil witch Morgan works in cahoots with Mordred to defeat Arthur and gain control of Camelot.

This wonderful movie features sword fights, chivalry, and a great love story between King Arthur and Guinevere, with good ultimately triumphing over evil. We are also able to see the founding of the Knights of the Round Table. In a funny scene, a sign says, “Ye Old Knight Club.” We are happy to award “Camelot: The Legend” our Dove Family-Approved Seal for all ages.
