Synopsis

Whether he’s fostering orphan birds, enduring Jon’s quest for the perfect family portrait, or putting up a good front for Liz’s parents, Garfield shows that he really does love his friends … almost as much as he loves lasagna.

Dove Review

There is no way to talk about this DVD collection of episodes of “The Garfield Show” but as entertaining comedy. Garfield is the unusual cat that talks, loves pasta, and gets himself and sometimes others into a little trouble. Subtitled “All You Need is Love (and Pasta),” the six short stories capture Garfield’s lovable side as he protects baby birds, tries to get his favorite toy Pooky back from an unfriendly dog, finds that he cannot live without John in his life, and becomes a matchmaker is an unusual way. Garfield is a hilarious cat that originated in the comics and has come to life in this series.

We award “The Garfield Show: All You Need Is Love (And Pasta)” the Dove Family Approved Seal for all ages.
