Dove Review

This is a fantastic, animated Bible story that focuses on the story of Daniel. Charlton Heston makes special mention of the strength of Daniel’s faith in his introduction.

We see the siege of Jerusalem and Daniel taken from his homeland. He misses his Jewish tradition but he continues to seek God in prayer. He is shown as the king’s advisor and he continues to pray to God when a new law forbids it. Finally, Daniel is seen in the lion’s den with an angel of the Lord keeping the lions calm. Daniel’s faith brings him out of the lion’s den.

This is an amazing story that is nicely portrayed in the film. This one has earned our Faith Friendly Seal for all ages and five Doves, and that’s as high as we go!
