Grizzly Adams: The Renewal

The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams, which ran on the NBC Television Network for two seasons beginning in 1977, featured Dan Haggerty as James "Grizzly" Adams, a character loosely based on a 19th century woodsmen and animal trapper who gained some notoriety for his exploits.

This movie is a warm and family friendly film that features Grizzly Adams (Dan Haggerty) as the gentle giant with a big heart.

Grizzly plans to celebrate Easter by combining it with the Indian festival. A conflict arises when a hawk that is needed to be part of the ceremony is infected in its talons and Grizzly attempts to cure it with medicine so that the celebration can be completed. The movie features themes of friendship, faith, and a celebration in honor of God’s son. We are pleased to award this heartwarming film our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages.
