Dove Review

Here is a movie about being encouraged and finding cheer just when it is needed most. Rockford Sheriff Rick Langston is down in the dumps. He has been divorced and is not seeing his daughter as much as he would like. Dean Cain is terrific as the Sheriff who needs a few miracles but is not sure he believes in them.

When a local man steals a baby Jesus from a Nativity scene (to land in a warm jail) things become interesting. Sheriff Langston finds a man at his home whom he assumes broke in. It seems the old gentleman acts a lot like Santa Claus and might, in fact, be the jolly old man in the red suit. He places him in jail and then both the man in jail and Santa open the sheriff’s eyes to a few things. Unexpectedly Sheriff Langston meets a woman who just moved to Rockford and her name is Lucy. After meeting her his life promises more than he could have hoped for.

We are happy to award this movie our Dove “Family-Approved” Seal for all ages. This film will renew your belief in the possibility of miracles.
