A mysterious man named Nick (Willie Nelson) gives Michael a gift and instills in him the courage to find the joy that he lost.

Dove Review

Christmas is a time for memories, celebration and family. In this charming story the idea of celebrating with family is not true for everyone. Michael has lost the Christmas spirit and no one seems to be able to help him to get it back. His parents, his wife and even his son have tried to inspire him but when he finds a new home for his family from an odd gentleman named Nick, there might be hope.

Michael’s family gets moved in just before Christmas and he realizes that they now live in the famous neighborhood that everyone from close and far comes to see. No matter how the neighbors try to reach out to him, he does not budge. His intense feelings stem from a tragedy that happened one Christmas when he was young. When another recent tragedy strikes, Michael’s son does not want anything to do with Christmas, which gives Michael a new perspective on life.

This movie is a moving story about the Christmas spirit. It shows how to live life in spite of the uncertainties we fact from time to time. We award this movie with the Dove Family Approved Seal for all ages.
