Solomon, Founder and CEO of Truli Media Group named to The Dove Foundation

Rolfe, The Dove Foundation co-founder and CEO announced the addition of noted
U.S. television and new media executive, Michael Jay Solomon, to its prestigious
Advisory Board. The Dove Foundation, established in 1991 is a nonprofit
organization dedicated to encouraging the entertainment industry to create,
produce and distribute a greater proportion of movies that are appropriate for
family viewing.
Mr. Solomon
has more than 50 years in the
worldwide media and content distribution business. He is the co-founder of
Telepictures Corp., which grew to become the largest U.S. television
syndication company and one of the largest international distribution
companies. Telepictures became a public company (NASDAQ) after only 14 months
under Michael's leadership as Chairman and CEO. A landmark deal saw
Telepictures merge with Lorimar to form Lorimar Telepictures Corp., where
Michael became the new company's President and member of its Board of Directors.
Lorimar Telepictures became the largest television production and distribution
company in the world. When Lorimar was acquired by Warner Bros., Michael became
President of Warner Bros. International Television. In recent years, he
has spearheaded multiple industry advancements through his company, Solomon
Entertainment Enterprises. He has been a member of the Board of the NYU
Stern School of Business for 26 years.
Mr. Solomon’s most recent endeavor is as CEO
and Founder of Truli Media Group, Inc. and Truli.net, a
faith-based, family-oriented social network with an innovative, on-demand
content distribution platform targeting the active Christian community, 150
million+ people in the US and 700 million internationally.
Truli.net opens the door to a wide
variety of Christian spiritual, family, and educational content with
entertainment elements, including sermons, music videos, concerts, movies,
comedy and programming streamed live and on demand - all within a trusted
community brought together by a shared affinity.
