Synopsis:
A Toy rabbit yearns to become "Real" though a child's love. Through his journey, the Velveteen Rabbit learns the mystery of Nursery magic and becomes real in more than one way.

This story is based on the novel by Margery Williams. For anyone who has not read the book, this is a story of a little boy who finds a Velveteen rabbit in the attic of his Grandmother's house. The love that little boy has for the rabbit brings the attic playroom alive to take them on different adventures.
This is a wonderful movie for the entire family. The filmmakers use the combination of animation and real life to portray this cute story. Many things can be learned from this tale, one being that when there is a loss in the family, people sometimes tend to become reserved and not show the love that those around them might need. Dove proudly awards the Dove "Family-Approved" Seal to "The Velveteen Rabbit."
