Synopsis:
Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) is a family man whose busy career as an architect doesn't leave much time for his wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two kids. Unable to figure out which of his many remotes turns on the television, he goes shopping for a universal remote and finds the perfect device through Morty (Christopher Walken), who gives him a one-of-a-kind remote with magical powers. With each click, Michael is able to control his career and personal life. But complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.

Worldview:
"Click" is a comedy about a man who goes out to get a TV remote and comes home with a universal remote to control his universe. While there are a couple of funny scenes, I found many others to be childish and crude. It seems like Director Frank Coraci is into toilet humor. I think he missed even that though since most people in the audience were not laughing much, even my teenager who has found many Adam Sandler comedies very funny.
This potentially interesting story-line was under-developed and slow going in many places. Christopher Walken portrays an interesting character, Morty, the man from whom Michael Newman (Sandler) received the remote.
Because of the foul language, Dove cannot award the Dove Family-Approved Seal to "Click". You might want to consider staying home and using your own remote to find something much better to watch on your own TV.
