| Content: | (A few mild obscenities, but I caught no misuse of God's name other than the expression, "Oh, my God"; the film implies a couple living together; New Age philosophy of the After-Life is expressed; belligerent attitude from the teen towards adults) |
| Review: | Fairly gentle film about a 13-year-old who goes to live with her eccentric inventor father after the mother dies in a car accident. Based on a true story, the daughter raises a nest of motherless goose eggs. When it comes time to fly South for the winter, guess who must lead them?! The outstanding photography makes up for many of the films flaws. Unfortunately the picture never offers a satisfactory healing between parent and child. |
